About My Organization: Elizabeth Fry Society

The Kamloops and District Elizabeth Fry Society is an established, registered community based non-profit agency that offers housing and community justice programs, and services to women and youth in Kamloops and region. The Society is governed by a 9 member, volunteer Board of Director, and employs 16 staff. It offers affordable housing, transitional housing and a range of programs that focus on supporting women and youth to address the challenges and barriers they face in their lives. The Society’s approach to the work is non-judgmental and strengths based. Community volunteers play an important role in much of the work we do.
