We’re calling for “all hands on deck” again - business, community services, government, and people with the experience of living in poverty in Medicine Hat to reconvene for second Community Roundtable Discussion on Reducing the Cost of Poverty in Medicine Hat.

Since the inaugural Roundtable Discussion on June 2, 2011, a small working group has been working diligently to address the recommendations from that first meeting.

The small working group is now ready to report to the community on the progress made thus far and to present to the Community Roundtable a proposed
“Framework for Change”

Liz Weaver from Vibrant Communities Canada: Cities Reducing Poverty will facilitate the Roundtable Discussion on the proposed Framework for Change.

It is hoped that with the feedback and input from the Community Roundtable that consensus can be reached on the Framework for Change and that there will be community support for the next steps that will be proposed.
