A stunning report about the costs of poverty in Alberta

Vibrant Communities Calgary and Action to End Poverty In Alberta release a report which shows that it costs $9.5 billion annually to maintain the human, social and economic costs of persistent poverty in Alberta.

The Action to End Poverty in Alberta website has a great video on this extensive research report and other tools to access about the report.

You can make a difference by joining a growing group of individuals and organizations calling upon the Government of Alberta to develop a comprehensive poverty reduction strategy by visiting the Action to End Poverty in Alberta website.
